AFCEA Aberdeen actively promotes educational opportunities for high school and community college students and teachers within Harford and Cecil Counties. Since 2011, our chapter has contributed over $455,000 to local students and teachers through the AFCEA Aberdeen Education Foundation.
The AFCEA Education Foundation is a certified 501 c3 non-profit organization sponsored by the Chapter through AFCEA International. Proceeds collected by the local Foundation provide educational incentives, opportunities, and assistance for people engaged in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
Over 90% of AFCEA Aberdeen's proceeds and sponsorships support donations and activities for our Education Foundation!
